Tristan Sweat has a diverse range of experience in the field of communications, with a focus on internal and external communications strategies. Tristan has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Production Assistant at WWMT-TV News Channel 3 in 1997. Tristan Sweat earned a double major Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Broadcast Cable Production from Western Michigan University from 1996 to 2000. Before that, Tristan completed high school and received a diploma in Journalism from Bangor High School between 1992 and 1996. Additionally, Tristan obtained certifications in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in 2021 and "Women in Leadership" from the University of Notre Dame in 2019.
