David Cahoon

David Cahoon is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and management. Currently serving as Chief Underwriting Officer at Geo Underwriting since June 2020, Cahoon previously held the position of Managing Director at Rural Insurance from June 2016 to June 2020. Earlier roles include Underwriting Transformation Manager at Pen Underwriting - UK and various leadership positions at Direct Line Group, including Head of Auto Rated Underwriting, Commercial Analysis and Pricing. Cahoon started their career at RBS as Head of Commercial Analysis and Packages. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Stirling, an M.B.A. from The Open University, and an ACII designation from The Chartered Insurance Institute.
