Bsit Nelson Carter

Nelson Carter, BSIT, has a diverse range of work experience. Nelson began their career in 1992 as a Boswain Mate in the US Navy, serving until 1996. In 2001, they joined Caterpillar Inc. as an IT Analyst II, where they worked until 2012. During this time, they gained valuable skills in IT analysis. In 2012, they transitioned to Consolvant Systems, where they worked as a System Administrator until 2014. Here, they focused on system administration and network management for Benetrac, Inc. Finally, since 2014, Nelson has been employed at GEOCON, progressing from the role of IT Manager to their current position as Director of Information Technology and Security. Overall, Nelson Carter has demonstrated expertise in IT management, system administration, and network management throughout their career.

Nelson Carter, BSIT, completed their Bachelor of Information Technology degree from the University of Phoenix between the years 2002 and 2006. Nelson pursued a specialization in the field of Information Technology during this time. In 2021, Nelson embarked on further educational growth by enrolling in UC San Diego Extended Studies. Currently, they are studying Cybersecurity, with an expected completion date in 2022.
