Darrick Wagg has a diverse and extensive work experience in the geospatial industry. Darrick started their career as an Exploration Geophysicist at Fugro Airborne Surveys in 1998. In 2002, they joined MD Atlantic Technologies as a LIDAR Analyst, where they gained experience in calibration, field data collection, and interpretation of LIDAR and GNSS data. After that, they worked at Aeroquest Optimal as a Manager of LIDAR & Geodesy, where they supervised multiple departments, managed field operations, and focused on staff training and development.
In 2010, Wagg joined GeoCue Group, Inc., where they held various positions of increasing responsibility. Darrick initially served as a Manager - Support Services, where they formalized support procedures and managed worldwide support for multiple product lines. Darrick worked closely with the development team to address product defects and prioritize client concerns, while advocating for continual product improvements.
Later on, Wagg was promoted to Director of Customer Support, where they oversaw customer support operations. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Customer Success at GeoCue Group, Inc. In this role, they focus on ensuring customer success by developing procedures and training curricula. Darrick regularly consults with clients, obtains feedback, and seeks areas for improvement to maximize the value of the company's products for customers worldwide.

Darrick Wagg obtained a Certificate in Engineering Management from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Earth and Atmospheric Science in the Space and Communication Sciences Stream in 1994-1998. Additionally, Darrick holds additional certifications as a Professional Geoscientist from the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario, a Professional Surveyor Photogrammetrist from the Virginia Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, Certified Interior Designers and Landscape Architects (APELSCIDLA), and as a Registered Professional Photogrammetrist from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Engineering & Land Surveying (OSBEELS).
