Joel Waltner

Joel Waltner has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Joel started their career in 2000 as a Mountain Guide at Southern Yosemite Mountain Guides, where they guided clients on backpacking trips and provided rock climbing instruction. In 2000, they also began working as an IT consultant at Software Innovation - Genera, where they developed software using agile processes.

In 2005, Joel joined LUUP as a Product Delivery Director, responsible for managing the implementation of new and improved functionality. Joel then moved on to SPEEDLOAD (Contosoft SA) in 2006, where they served as the Director of Systems Integration, overseeing product and project management for an M-Commerce facilitator.

Since 2008, Joel has been working at Geodata AS as a Product and Partner Manager. In this role, they manage international partner relations, the product portfolio, and corporate responsibility initiatives. Their responsibilities also include pricing and distribution as well as evangelizing partner organizations internally.
