Zihni Simsek

Zihni Simsek is a qualified Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience in the engineering field, currently employed at Geolabs, Inc. since May 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Geotechnical Engineer at ANS Geo, Inc. from July 2021 to May 2022, and a Graduate Research Assistant position at the University at Buffalo, where Zihni conducted a detailed literature review on tunnel intersections and their impact on stability under the guidance of Dr. Kamelia Atefi Monfared. Early career stages included internships at Ağaoğlu Şirketler Grubu, contributing to the Maslak 1453 Residential Complex project by managing project documents and collaborating with subcontractors. Zihni holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an additional Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
