Jussi Ahonen

Jussi Ahonen has over two decades of experience in geology and environmental solutions, currently serving as Account Manager for Water and Mining Environment Solutions at the Geological Survey of Finland since September 2007. Previous roles include Head of Unit for Groundwater, Division Manager for Land Use and Environment in Southern Finland, and Project Manager and Team Leader. Prior to GTK, Jussi Ahonen worked at Pöyry from August 1998 to August 2007, where positions included Head of the Field Investigation Department and Project Manager for various geotechnical and environmental projects. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Turku and extensive roles in laboratory management and field investigations. Jussi Ahonen holds a Master of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Turku.
