Quentin Dehaine

Quentin Dehaine is a Senior Researcher in Geometallurgy and Traceability at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since May 2019, focusing on resource efficiency and traceability of battery minerals, particularly cobalt. Previously, Quentin held postdoctoral positions at the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter, working on a project to enhance the UK's cobalt recovery, and at Université de Lorraine, contributing to the FAME project on the beneficiation of complex ores. In earlier roles, Quentin served as a sessional lecturer in mineral processing and completed an internship as a geologist at Vale Nickel Mine. Quentin holds a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie and a Ph.D. in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Université de Lorraine.
