Riikka Mäki

Riikka Mäki currently serves as the Director of Human Resources, Information Management and Legal Services at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since August 2018, leading initiatives in intellectual capital, promoting organizational diversity, managing information systems, and providing legal services while being part of the management team. Previously, Riikka held the position of Head of HR Development at GTK, focusing on strategic competence and leadership development, talent acquisition, and workplace well-being. Prior experience includes roles as a Training Manager and Trade Compliance Officer at ABB, where responsibilities encompassed trade compliance analysis, compliance tool implementation, and training strategy management. Riikka began the career as a Sales Assistant at Adecco Group. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Economics & Business Administration from Turku School of Economics and a high school diploma from institutions in Finland and the USA.
