Hamdah Tahir started their work experience as a Private Tutor for high school students in "calculus and vectors" and "advanced function" from September 2016 to June 2017. In May 2018, they became an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher Assistant at the University of Toronto Mississauga, where they taught one-on-one and small group settings and monitored students' progress in reading comprehension, speaking, and writing.

From September 2019 to September 2020, Hamdah worked as a Teacher Assistant for First Year Calculus at the University of Toronto Mississauga, delivering in-class lectures with applications to biology for Life Science students. Hamdah also gained research experience as an NSERC Student Researcher at the University of Toronto from May to September 2019.

In September 2020, Hamdah became a Teacher Assistant at the University of Guelph, where they connected calculus course material to real-life applications such as pharmacy, engineering, and business for various applied programs. Hamdah also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Guelph from May 2020 to September 2021.

Currently, Hamdah Tahir serves as a Data Scientist/Developer in Computer Vision at GeologicAI, where they conceptualize, designs, implements, and validates computer vision algorithmic solutions for automating geological analysis. Hamdah utilizes clustering techniques, principal component analysis, and mathematical operations to classify minerals in rocks based on hyperspectral and RGB data cubes.

Hamdah Tahir began their education in 2016 at the University of Toronto, where they pursued an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Hamdah completed their undergraduate studies in 2020. Following this, in 2020, they enrolled at the University of Guelph to pursue a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, which they completed in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Hamdah has obtained several certifications. In February 2022, they received the "IBM Verified Certificate for Python Basics for Data Science" and the "IBM Verified Certificate for Machine Learning with Python: A Practical Introduction."
