Petr Popov

Petr Popov is a C++ Developer at Geomage since February 2011, with expertise in geophysical algorithms and cross-platform software development. Key projects include the Seg-D to Seg-Y converter and viewer, as well as contributions to the gPlatform seismic-processing software. Petr has extensive experience in modern C++, STL, Boost, CGAL, Qt5, and software development tools such as Visual Studio and Qt Creator. Prior to Geomage, Petr worked as a Programmer-Geophysics at GeoLeader from May 2006 to February 2011, focusing on Java SE development within the PetroVision department. Petr holds a Master's degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Tyumen State Oil and Gas University, completed in 2009.
