Doug Groom

Doug Groom Doug Groom has an AS in Electronic Technology, a BS from UCLA, a California teaching credential from UCSC, and an MBA. After teaching physics, biology, and general science for four years in the Peace Corps (Malaysia and Paraguay) Doug worked with marine acoustic systems (side-scan sonars and scanning through-hull sonars) at Wesmar Corp, Seattle, WA for five years. He joined Geometrics in 1994 to create an electromagnetics division of the company and continues to work in EM-resistivity sales and product management.
