Felipe Correa Rozo is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in energy, mining, and infrastructure. Currently serving as Exploration Assets Legal at GeoPark since April 2017, Felipe leads legal counsel efforts for exploratory assets in Colombia and Ecuador, while also handling corporate acquisitions and government bidding rounds in Mexico and Ecuador as New Business Legal. Prior to this role, Felipe worked as a Senior Associate at Baker McKenzie, focusing on natural resources project structuring and M&A transactions. Early career experience includes an internship at Sustainable Development Strategies Group, where research centered on human rights and indigenous law, and various litigation roles at Baker McKenzie. Felipe holds an LL.M in Oil & Gas from the University of Dundee, a degree in Commercial Law from Universidad de Los Andes, and a Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
