Kent Chaisson

Kent Chaisson is a seasoned Rig Manager with extensive experience in offshore drilling operations. Currently employed at Geoquip Marine since March 2021, Kent previously served as a Night Toolpusher at Maersk Drilling from March 2014 to August 2020, overseeing deepwater drilling campaigns in various regions including Malaysia, the Philippines, and Ghana. Prior to that, Kent held the position of Night Toolpusher at Seadrill, supervising operations for Petrobras offshore Brazil. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Driller at PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk in Indonesia and Driller at Nabors Drilling International Limited in Saudi Arabia. Kent began a career in the industry as a Leasehand and Driller at Kinnell Drilling Ltd. Educational qualifications include a BTEC Level 5 PRA Diploma in Leadership & Management from City & Guilds and a High School Academic Diploma from Souris Regional High School.
