Scott McMurray started their work experience in 1988 at the Fort Collins Coloradoan, where they worked in advertising until 1991. In 1991, they joined George Risk Industries as the Director of Sales & Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for managing the sales department, including the sales team, support staff, and marketing. Scott also oversaw international sales and shipments to Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, and Australia.
Scott McMurray obtained their BA degree in Communication Arts from Hastings College from 1981 to 1985.
