Fiona Freeman

Fiona "Fee" Freeman is an experienced nonprofit professional with a strong background in communications, digital fundraising, and policy advocacy. Currently serving as Faculty at the Georgia Center for Nonprofits since June 2020, Fiona teaches courses on fundraising and digital campaigns. Previously, Fiona worked with the International Rescue Committee as Communications & External Relations Manager, overseeing team management and public health communications initiatives, and significantly enhancing digital engagement and fundraising efforts. Additional roles include Development Committee Chair at Green Card Voices, where Fiona played a key role in fundraising strategy, and Assistant Policy Officer at Children in Scotland, focusing on research and policy advocacy for children’s rights. Fiona holds a Master of Arts in Political Communication from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a Minor in Human Rights from the University of Roehampton.
