Bob Kosek

Bob Kosek has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and sectors. Bob began their career as a Community Affairs and Grassroots Intern at Southwest Airlines in 2010. Bob then transitioned to the Metro Atlanta Chamber, where they held multiple positions, including Technology Intern, Associate Project Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager from 2014 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Invest Atlanta as a Senior Project Manager, Business Attraction, and later as an Assistant Director of Economic Development. Currently, Bob Kosek holds positions at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, where they have served as the Director, Logistics, Energy, Agribusiness & Food Team from 2021 to 2022, the Director of Industrial Projects from 2022 to 2022, and is currently working as the Division Director, Global Commerce.

Bob Kosek has a Bachelor of the Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from Ohio University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2012. Bob then pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree with a focus on Planning and Economic Development at Georgia State University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to their university education, Bob received a High School Diploma from Euclid High School, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, it is noted that Bob has pursued, or is currently pursuing, another Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the Georgia State University - Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, although the specific dates are not provided.
