Donald R. Avery

Donald R. Avery serves as the Chairman of Alliant Health Solutions, Inc. since July 2012 and holds the position of Past Chairman at the Georgia Hospital Association since November 2019. Avery is the President/CEO of Fairview Park Hospital since May 2008 and has been a Course Instructor for the EMBA program at Creighton University's Heider College of Business since September 2018. Previous roles include Governor at the American College of Healthcare Executives from March 2008 to March 2011, President/CEO of Hughston Orthopedic Hospital (December 2003 - June 2008), Senior Vice President at Columbus Regional Healthcare System (July 2000 - December 2003), and Vice-President/Assistant Administrator at South Georgia Medical Center (April 1988 - June 2000). Avery holds an MBA/MHS in Health and Hospital Administration from the University of Florida and a BS in Management - Accounting and Finance from the United States Air Force Academy.
