Derick Owens

Derick Owens possesses extensive experience in human resources and finance, with a prominent role as a Human Resources Technician in the Georgia National Guard since August 2012. Responsibilities have included developing HR policies, managing personnel actions for battalion elements, overseeing education services, and handling retirement points management. Prior to military service, Derick held various positions in the banking industry, including Senior Payments Processor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Operations Specialist at SunTrust Bank. Derick is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of West Georgia, building on a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government and an Associate of Arts in General Studies.
