Ramesh Vakamudi has been working in the field of information technology for over 20 years. Ramesh started their career as a software developer for Progressive Insurance, where they were responsible for application design and development. Ramesh then moved on to the Georgia Department of Transportation, where they served as IT Systems Team Lead from June 2003 to December 2007. In this role, they oversaw the department's IT systems and led a team of developers in designing and implementing new applications. In December 2007, they joined Georgia State University as Vice President of Facilities, where they are responsible for the university's facilities and operations.
Ramesh Vakamudi received a M.S in Computer Science from The University of Akron.
