Melinda Buchanan

Melinda Buchanan CEM is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and 19 years in the Events and Tradeshow sector. Currently serving as the Director of Client and Guest Services/Event Services at the Georgia World Congress Center Authority since December 2018, Melinda is dedicated to building long-lasting industry relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. Previously, Melinda held the position of Director of Event Management at Sands Expo Convention Center from March 2000 to November 2018, as well as Senior Event Manager at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino for a brief period in 2006. Melinda's earlier role as Event Coordinator at Sands Expo and Convention Center involved managing various events, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in event planning and coordination.
