Matthew Lawson

Matthew Lawson is currently the President & CEO at Georgian Bay General Hospital. Prior to this, they were the Chief Performance Officer at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre from August 2010 to June 2021. Matthew has also worked as a Senior Financial Accountant at Tembec from May 2007 to August 2010, and as a Payroll Clerk at Statistics Canada from April 2006 to September 2006.

Lawson attended Nipissing University, where they received a BBA in Accounting. Matthew then attended the University of Regina, where they earned a Master's Degree in Health Administration. Matthew is currently enrolled at CMA - SLP.

Matthew Lawson reports to Gail Hunt, President & CEO. They are on a team with Angie Saini - VP, Clinical Services & Chief Nursing Executive, Emily Queenan - President, Medical Staff, and Bill Whittaker - VP, Human Resources. and Dawn Jones - Director, Finance reports to Matthew Lawson.
