Aldo Apponi

Aldo Apponi is a Technical Fellow at Geost, Inc., since May 2008, where responsibilities include supporting system development and integration, as well as promoting and implementing new technologies. Previously, Aldo served as a Senior Staff Scientist, focusing on telescope control system automation, gimbal system design for remote sensing, LADAR, and the development of image processing algorithms. Prior to Geost, Aldo was an Associate Staff Scientist at the University of Arizona, where instrumentation for studying complex organic species and astrophysical molecules was designed. Aldo's early career included a fellowship at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, contributing to the discovery of new astrophysical molecules and advancements in spectroscopic instrumentation. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Governors State University.
