Kyle Weston

Kyle Weston is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning, computer vision, and engineering management. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist - Generative AI at GEOTAB since September 2023, Kyle is spearheading the development of a multi-modal chatbot for intelligent transportation insights. Previously, as Senior Computer Vision Engineer at BenchSci, Kyle led a team to enhance layout analysis in scientific documents. Over a 12-year tenure at Kinsol Research Inc., Kyle successfully directed multiple projects in computer vision and NLP, achieving significant advancements in various applications. In earlier roles, Kyle managed the development of a neurofeedback system at 40 Years of Zen, founded Allspark Electronics, and contributed to the firmware and hardware engineering efforts in several organizations. Kyle holds a Master’s degree from McGill University and Bachelor's from the University of Victoria, complemented by a diploma from Camosun College.
