Bret Fischer

Bret Fischer, Civil P.E., has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Bret began as a Geological Engineer and Petroleum Technician at Aruba Petroleum, Inc. in 2012, where they collaborated with the geological team and performed tasks related to well analysis and database management. From 2014 to 2018, Bret served as an Engineering Project Manager at HENLEY-JOHNSTON & ASSOCIATES, INC., primarily working on high-rise projects in Dallas and Austin. Bret then joined Geotex Engineering, LLC. (formerly D&S) in 2018 and held multiple positions, including Senior Project Manager, Lead Professional Engineer, Regional CMET Engineering Manager, and currently serves as the Director of CMT Engineering. In addition to their industry experience, Bret has been actively involved in the TSPE Denton Chapter, serving as Vice President, President Elect, and currently as the President.

Bret Fischer, Civil P.E., earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosystems Engineering and Hydrogeology from The University of Texas at Austin, from 2005 to 2011.
