Christian Schleicher

Christian Schleicher has a strong work history in the field of geospatial information systems. Christian worked at GeoVille Information Systems and Data Processing GmbH for over 11 years, starting in 2008. During their time at GeoVille, they held various roles including Head of Copernicus Department, Head of Project Management Office, and Senior Expert. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Project Manager at GAF AG from 2003 to 2007. Christian also gained experience as a Trainee in GIS Applications at Landcare Research in 2001.

Christian Schleicher completed their Master of Science (MSc) in GIScience from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, starting in 2008 and graduating in 2010. Prior to that, they attended Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Diplom in Degreed Engineering (FH) with a specialization in Cartography. In addition to their formal education, Christian Schleicher also obtained certifications in project management. In 2017, they completed the PM9001x: Project Management Life Cycle course at Rochester Institute of Technology, and in 2019, they obtained the PM9002x: Best Practices for Project Management Success certification from the same institution.
