Oliver Kortenjann

Oliver Kortenjann has extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing industry. Oliver began their career at Schuster Kunststofftechnik GmbH in 2000 as a Project Manager and Quality Planning. In 2003, they joined Gerhardi Kunststofftechnik GmbH as a Project Manager until 2006. Kortenjann then returned to Gerhardi Kunststofftechnik GmbH in 2008 as the Head of Technical Controlling. Oliver later took on the role of Head of EHS Management and Sustainability Manager. Additionally, Kortenjann held multiple positions at Gerhardi Galvanotechnik Werdohl GmbH from 2008 to 2019, including Deputy Managing Director, Fire Protection Officer, Sabotage Protection Officer, Incident Officer, and Head of Quality Department. Their roles have encompassed environmental, safety, and quality responsibilities.

Oliver Kortenjann completed their education in a chronological manner. Oliver first attended TU Dortmund University from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering). Afterward, they pursued a degree in Maschinenbau, Fachrichtung Kunststofftechnik (Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Plastic Technology) at Fachhochschule Südwestfalen from 1996 to 2000, earning a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree. Oliver further continued their education at the same institution from 2002 to 2009, completing a Weiterbildender Verbundstudiengang Technische Betriebswirtschaft (Advanced Integrated Study Program in Technical Business Administration) and obtaining a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (FH) degree.

Additionally, Oliver Kortenjann has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1996, they acquired the Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) certification from Fachhochschule Südwestfalen. In 2008, they became a qualified DGQ Qualitätsmanager (Quality Manager) by completing a certification program offered by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität e.V. In 2012, they obtained the DGQ Umweltmanager / -betriebsprüfer (Environmental Manager / Auditor) certification, and in 2014, they achieved the DGQ Energiemanagementbeauftragter (Energy Management Officer) certification, both provided by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität e.V. Most recently, in October 2020, Oliver Kortenjann received the Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (Occupational Safety Specialist) certification from BGHM und BGW.
