Ludwig Stroink has a diverse work experience in the field of geosciences. Ludwig started their career in 1994 as a Scientific Secretary at RWTH Aachen and Ruhr University Bochum. Ludwig worked in this role until 1999. From 2000 to 2009, they served as the Managing Director at the National Coordination Office R&D-Programme GEOTECHNOLOGIEN. Following this, they joined the Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam - German Research Centre for Geosciences GFZ in 2010, where they initially held the role of Head of International Relations until 2020. Currently, they are the Head of the International Relations and Project Office at the same organization.
Ludwig Stroink holds an MSc and PhD in Geology/Earth Sciences from Aachen Technical University RWTH.
