Slim Abdennadher currently serves as the President of the German International University (GIU) since September 2021. Previously, Slim Abdennadher has held multiple academic roles at The German University in Cairo, including Professor of Computer Science, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the Faculty of Media Engineering and Technology, and Dean of the Faculties of Engineering since September 2003. Prior experience includes working at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München as a Research and Teaching Assistant from 1994 to August 2003, and serving as a Researcher at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) in 1993. Educational qualifications include a Habilitation and Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, as well as a Diplom Informatiker (Master's Degree) in Computer Science from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
