Director Of Publishing And Professional Resources at The Gerontological Society of America (GSA)

Megan McCutcheon has extensive experience in the field of publishing and professional resources. Megan worked for The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) from 2011 to 2019, starting as a Research Associate and eventually becoming the Director of Publishing and Professional Resources. In this role, they provided strategic and tactical leadership for the publications department and managed various scholarly journals. Megan also served as the Managing Editor for The Gerontologist and Public Policy & Aging Report, as well as the Associate Editor for the monthly Society newsletter and the liaison for the Emerging Scholars and Professional Organization (ESPO). Prior to their time at GSA, Megan worked as a Research Associate at George Mason University and UNC Charlotte.

Megan McCutcheon has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Megan also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
