Tom Simpson is a board member at Gestalt Diagnostics and has over 25 years of experience in the corporate finance industry. Tom started their career as a CPA at Deloitte Haskins & Sells and then transitioned to Dain Bosworth where they managed public offerings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions for multiple companies in the Northwest. In 1995, Tom became managing partner at Northwest Venture Associates, a venture capital firm that invested in several of the region's most successful companies. Some of their investments included AdRelevance, Confirma, NetPodium, NetMotion Wireless, Packet Engines, Pet's Choice, PrintPaks, Sur La Table, Tegic and World Wide Packets. Most recently, Tom was CEO and co-founder of Kaspien, an ecommerce company specializing in hard-to-find items. Under their leadership, Kaspien grew to be one of the largest third-party sellers on Amazon.com. Tom has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Washington and is a certified public accountant.
