Shay Cohen

Co-founder & VP, Engineering at Fabric

Shay Cohen is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in research and development across various sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Engineer at Fabric since January 2016, Shay also holds the position of Co-Founder and VP Engineering at formX and is a Board Advisor at both Automato Robotics and formX. In academia, Shay has been a lecturer at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, focusing on machine design while mentoring the SAE Formula student group. Previous roles include Co-Founder and VP R&D at CommonSense Robotics, and leadership positions at Israeli Military Intelligence, including Head of R&D of Integrated Mechanics and Head of Special Devices R&D. Shay's educational background includes a Master's degree in Biomechanics from the University of Delaware, an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, complemented by a technician degree in Electronics from ORT Jerusalem.
