Ana Maria Ruiz Ruiz

Ana Maria Ruiz Ruiz has over 12 years of professional experience. Ana Maria began their career in 2008 as an English Teacher at Centro Boliviano Americano. Ana Maria then worked as a Systems Technician for the Programa GNV- Government of the department of Tarija in 2014, followed by a Java Consultant role at the Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas Públicas. In 2015, they worked as a Java Developer at Banco Unión S.A. where they were part of the team in charge of designing the architecture and implementation of new core banking software based in Java and Angular. Ana Maria also provided support to UniBanca software, which is the central system to register clients and administrate the principal transactions of the bank. In 2016, they worked as a Software Developer at Mojix where they were responsible for bug fixing and feature development using Java programming language and MySQL, as well as implementing Spring framework for LDAP authentication and OAuth 2. In 2018, they worked as a Machine Learning Instructor at Elemental Bolivia, where they designed, developed, and implemented innovative courses to teach Machine Learning to Bolivian teenagers. In 2020, they worked as a Software Development Intern at eviCore healthcare. Currently, they are a Data Engineer at Fairplay (Freedom to Scale).

Ana Maria Ruiz Ruiz has a diverse educational background. Ana Maria obtained a Diploma Higher Education from CEPIES Universidad Mayor de San Andres in 2015, a Bachelor of Computer Science from Universidad Autonoma Juan Misael Saracho in 2008-2013, and English Proficiency from Centro Boliviano Americano in 2005-2007. In 2018, they completed an Intro to Self Driving Cars course from Udacity. Ana Maria is currently pursuing a M.S. in Data Analytics Engineering at Northeastern University, and is a Gordon Engineering Leadership Fellow Candidate at The Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership at Northeastern University.
