Bertrand Martin

Bertrand Martin has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being Deputy Director Railway Operations at Getlink since 2022. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Eurotunnel, including Head of Real-time Operations and Project Manager in Customer Service and Railway Operations from 2019 to 2022, and Head of Short Term Maintenance for Rolling Stock from 2014 to 2019. Before joining Eurotunnel, they worked at SNCF, where they served as Manager of Logistics Support to Locomotive Operational Unit for Rolling Stock from 2008 to 2011, and as a Lean Manager for Rolling Stock from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, they worked at Valeo as an Industrialization Project Team Member from 2006 to 2007, focusing on the development of production means for a new factory in China.

Bertrand MARTIN has an Engineer's degree from the Institut Supérieur de l'Automobile et des Transports, which was obtained from 2004 to 2006. Bertrand also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics and Electronics from Robert Gordon University, completed from 2002 to 2004. In addition, they hold a DUT in Mesures Physiques from the Institut Universitaire de Limoges, acquired from 2000 to 2002. Bertrand recently completed a course in Railway at Moisson-Desroches in 2022. Currently, they are pursuing a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma en amélioration continue at Cubik Partners, with an expected completion date in 2023.
