Nick F.

Nick F. has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering and web development industries. Nick began their career in 1998 as a freelance web developer and then moved on to Priority Automation Inc. in 2006 as a UI Technical Lead. In 2010, they joined xMatters, inc. as VP, Engineering and was responsible for building the engineering team and the product that was the primary driver behind the $240M acquisition of xMatters. Nick also pioneered remote work flexibility within the company, rebuilt the product from a monolithic architecture to a service-oriented architecture operating across 6 regions globally, and generated several million dollars in sales pipeline by analyzing customer usage patterns. In 2021, they joined Everbridge as VP, Engineering and Maple (getmaple.ca) as SVP, Engineering.

Nick F. attended the University of Alberta from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a BSc. in Computing Science with a Business Minor.
