Simran K. Rattan, MD, CCFP, ABOIM, NBC-HWC has extensive experience in the medical field. Simran K. has been the CEO & Founder of Kartar Health since 2021 and the CEO & Founder of Spirituality is Medicine (SiM) since 2018. From 2017 to present, they have been a Physician and Health and Wellness Coach for Maple (getmaple.ca). From 2018 to present, they have been a Physician of Integrative & Lifestyle Medicine & Integrative Health Coach for DeerFieldsClinic. From 2011 to present, they have been a Family Physician for Castlemore Family Medicine & Main St. Clinic and Walk In. Additionally, they have been the Vice President North America Chapter, Meditation Master Coach, and Spiritual Elder for Vibrant Celestial Meditation since 1998.

Simran K. Rattan, MD, CCFP, ABOIM, NBC-HWC has an extensive educational background. Simran K. obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Medical University of the Americas. Following that, they completed a Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Rattan then obtained their CCFP from The College of Family Physicians of Canada - Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine in July 2010. In 2016-2018, they completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. Additionally, they received their ABOIM - Diplomate American board of Integrative Medicine from the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS) in May 2018. Simran K. then completed a Train-the-Trainer Spiritual Care Education Curriculum (ISPEC) at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2019. In 2021-2022, they are currently pursuing a Media and Medicine Certification from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rattan also has additional certifications, such as National Board Certification -Health and Wellness Coaching from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching, Advanced Certified in bHRT from the Academy of Preventive and Innovative medicine by Worldlink, and Map of Meaning practitioner from Map of Meaning International. Lastly, they are a Tai Chi Instructor - Level 1 from Ji Hong Tai Chi.
