Ashwini Kapila

Ashwini Kapila has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Ashwini began their career in 1994 at DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd as an Assistant Vice President. In 1998, they moved to ABN Amro Securities (India) Pvt Ltd and held the same position. From 2001 to 2020, they were at Barclays Investment Bank, where they started as an Associate Director and was promoted to Director and then to Managing Director, Head - FI Coverage, India. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining, building and enhancing the relationship by leading all business interests and the product suite of the corporate and investment bank, with Indian Financial Institutions. Ashwini also led marquee cross border capital raising for some the biggest Indian Banks and Financial Institutions. In 2020, they joined GetSetUp as Managing Director - Business Development & Partnerships and Advisor. In 2022, they took on the role of Business Advisor at Yuza Global Schloars Pte Ltd. (Homeclass.in).

Ashwini Kapila received their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce in 1992. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance and General from the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education, which they completed in 1994.
