Megan Hatch

Megan Hatch, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the fields of technical accounting, audit, and bookkeeping. Megan began their career as a Math and Science ACT Tutor at Excellence In-Home Tutoring, where they helped improve students' scores on the ACT exam. Megan then worked as a Banquet Server and Captain at Thanksgiving Point before transitioning to a role as a Bookkeeper and Office Admin at Business Accounting Services. In this position, they created and maintained accounting records for small business clients and provided compliance and payroll services.

Megan then joined Deloitte as an Audit Intern, where they gained experience in auditing financial statements and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards. Megan continued at Deloitte as an Audit and Assurance Assistant and later as an Audit and Assurance Senior Assistant. In these roles, they coordinated with client management and audit teams, performed audits under PCAOB standards, and worked with publicly traded clients in the Advertising and Consumer Products industries.

Megan then joined AxisPlus Benefits as an Accountant, where they further solidified their skills in financial management and accounting. Megan later returned to Deloitte as a Senior Associate in the Technical Accounting and IPO Services division. In this role, they provided support to clients throughout the IPO and pre-IPO processes, prepared financial statements for S-1 filings, and drafted technical memos on various accounting topics.

Most recently, Megan joined Weave as a Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager. Megan'sresponsibilities in this role include overseeing technical accounting and reporting functions within the company.

Throughout their career, Megan has demonstrated a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and colleagues.

Megan Hatch, CPA, holds a Master of Accounting degree with a specialization in the Audit Track from the University of Utah, which they pursued from 2017 to 2018. Prior to their master's program, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the University of Utah from 2013 to 2016. Megan also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Utah in September 2019.
