Ricky Nickolette

Ricky Nickolette has extensive work experience in the field of IT engineering and infrastructure. Ricky started their career in 2006 at Solera | Identifix as a Senior IT Engineer, where they were responsible for systems administration for Windows Server and Linux Servers. In 2015, they joined Ancestry as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer and later progressed to the role of Staff Engineer. During their time at Ancestry, Ricky contributed to the company's infrastructure development. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Weave as a Senior DevOps Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Ricky Nickolette attended Solano Community College from 2000 to 2001, where they studied Computer Science. Ricky then transferred to Utah Valley University, where they pursued Computer Science from 2001 to 2006. Ricky has also obtained various certifications in the field, including the RHCE - Red Hat Certified Engineer (EX300), RHCSA - Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (EX200), and several Microsoft certifications such as Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows XP.
