Blanca Fernandez Salamanca

Blanca Fernandez Salamanca has a diverse work experience. From 2015 to 2015, they worked as a Summer Intern at Smurfit Kappa. In 2019, they joined Repsol as a Data Science and Machine Learning Engineer Intern, where they developed a system for automatic processing of incidences using NLP and ML techniques. Blanca then moved on to The University of Edinburgh in the same year, where they worked on a Computer Vision Masters Project, focusing on tracking the 3D location of a flexible robot for lung surgeries. Currently, they are working at GetYourGuide as a Software Engineer, starting in 2021 and taking on the role of Associate Backend Software Engineer before that.

Blanca Fernandez Salamanca completed their primary school education at The High School of Glasgow from 2008 to 2012. Blanca then pursued their high school education, receiving a High School Diploma from Runnymede College between 2012 and 2016. Later, Blanca attended The University of Edinburgh from 2016 to 2021, where they obtained their Masters of Informatics degree with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering.
