Dana Biesterfeld

Dana Biesterfeld has a diverse work experience starting in 2012. Dana worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. where they held various roles including Guest Services Agent, Catering and Events Management Coordinator, Catering Sales Specialist, and finally, Catering Sales Manager. In these positions, they managed and executed major corporate and leisure meetings and events, sold meeting spaces, and provided support to the Director of Catering and Event Managers. Dana also worked at Optiv Inc as a Facilities & Operations Administrator where they played a crucial role in planning and executing a large-scale move of the global headquarters and managing the operations of the facility. Dana later joined German Language School Berlin for an intensive German language course. Currently, they are working at GetYourGuide as a Recruitment Coordination Manager, after being promoted from their previous roles as Recruitment Coordination Team Lead, Associate Recruitment Coordination Team Lead, and Recruitment Coordinator.

Dana Biesterfeld completed their Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also participated in a Study Abroad program related to Hotel and Restaurant Management. Additionally, they obtained a B2 level certification in German Language from the German Language School of Berlin in August 2019. In December 2016, Dana became a TIPS Certified Participant through the Health Communications, Inc. (The TIPS Program).
