Gonçalo Tavares

Gonçalo Tavares started working as a MSc Student at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa - FCT NOVA from September 2012 to January 2015. Gonçalo then joined OutSystems as a Software Engineer from February 2015 to January 2017. Gonçalo later served as a Senior Software Engineer at OutSystems from January 2017 to March 2019 and was promoted to Lead Software Engineer from March 2019 to October 2020. Following that, Tavares worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Monito.com from October 2020 to June 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Backend Engineer at GetYourGuide since July 2022.

Gonçalo Tavares started their education in 2006 at Escola Secundária João de Barros. However, no degree or field of study was specified for this period. From 2009 to 2012, they attended NOVA School of Science and Technology, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Gonçalo further pursued their education at the same institution, completing their Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from 2012 to 2014.
