Marjana Karzek

Marjana Karzek has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the tech industry. Marjana is currently working at GetYourGuide, where they started in November 2022 as a Senior Android Engineer. Before that, they served as an Associate Engineering Manager at the same company from July 2022 to November 2022. Prior to their managerial role, Marjana was a Senior Android Engineer at GetYourGuide between August 2021 and June 2022. Marjana initially joined GetYourGuide as an Android Engineer in November 2020 and remained in that position until July 2021.

In addition to their work at GetYourGuide, Marjana also has experience as a Software Engineering Consultant, having worked as a freelancer under their own name since January 2020.

Before joining GetYourGuide, Marjana worked at Vivy - Your Digital Health Companion as an Android Engineer from October 2018 to November 2020. Prior to that, they were employed as a Werkstudentin Android Entwicklung (working student in Android development) at Vivy from February 2018 to September 2018.

Marjana Karzek's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Carl Bechstein Gymnasium. Marjana completed their Allgemeine Hochschulreife degree, with a focus on Informatik and Englisch, in 2012. Following that, from 2012 to 2014, they attended Oberstufenzentrum für Informations- und Medizintechnik Berlin-Neukölln, where they earned their degree as a Fachinformatikerin für Systemintegration. Lastly, from 2015 to 2018, Marjana attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in International Media and Computing.
