Oltjona (Ola) Makri began their work experience in 2009 as a Product Manager at Vodafone Albania, where they worked until 2013. In 2014, they joined Three Ireland as a Project/Product Manager on a contract basis. Later that year, they moved to Vodafone, where they took on multiple roles, including Enterprise Commercial Product Manager and Customer Experience Manager. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Customer Experience and Channel Operations Manager, and then as the Head of Customer Experience and Care. In 2019, they joined GetYourGuide as the Head of Customer Experience.

Oltjona (Ola) Makri has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Oltjona (Ola) obtained this degree with a field of study in Business/Commerce, General. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in Squared Online Digital Marketing from Squared Online in July 2017, and Competitive Strategy from Coursera in October 2013.
