Carlos Casanova

Carlos Casanova has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Carlos started their career in 2009 as a Software Developer at DATYS, where they were responsible for troubleshooting, network maintenance, and providing technical support to clients. Carlos then transitioned to Casanova Electronic, where they worked as an Electronic Automobile specialist, developing and repairing control regulators for alternator outputs and designing electronic ignition circuits.

In 2011, Carlos joined UCCFD as a Network Administrator, where they focused on maintaining the institution's IT security policies and transferring the server operating system from Windows Server to Linux. After that, they joined ASCCS Association Sportive et Communautaire du Centre-Sud as an IT Manager, overseeing the organization's IT operations.

Their most recent position is with Gexel Telecom, where they started in 2015 as a Network and Systems Administrator. Later, they were promoted to Lead RPA Engineer, specializing in Robotic Process Automation. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Information Technology at Gexel Telecom, contributing to the strategic management and development of the IT department.

Carlos Casanova attended Champlain College Saint-Lambert in 2013, where they obtained an AEC Cisco CCNA Reconnaissance des acquis et des compétences. From 2003 to 2009, they studied at Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas, earning a degree in Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained CCNA Routing and Switching and CCENT certifications from Cisco Systems in 2014.
