BR is a Brazilian journalist with over ten years of experience in the gaming industry. BR began their career as an Executive Editor at EArena Games, where they were responsible for coordinating journalists and editors covering events, conducting interviews with relevant figures in the industry both in Brazil and abroad, creating new content series, and supporting the commercial team at events and meetings.
During their time at EArena Games, BR covered live events such as the Brasil Game Show from 2009 to 2013, the Global Game Jam from 2010 to 2013, SBGames from 2007 to 2013, Video Games Live from 2008 to 2012, and the BIG Festival in 2015. They also covered online events such as the E3 from 2009 to 2014. In addition, BR broke several stories including the announcement of local Xbox 360 production in Manaus (AM), the closure of the local Electronic Arts office, the launch of the first Nintendo Wii U game in Portuguese, and thereveal of the first Portuguese song on the Just Dance series.

BR also created several content series during their time at EArena Games including "Blogando o Brasil dos Games" ("Blogging about Brazil's Games").
Currently, BR works as a billing analyst at GF Corp.
BR has a degree in law from Universidade Federal Fluminense, a high school diploma from Colégio Plinio Leite, and a elementary school diploma from Colégio Plinio Leite. BR also has certifications from Northwestern University in Content Strategy for Professionals in Organizations, from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in e-Learning Ecologies, and from University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School in Gamification.
