Christophe Buron

Christophe Buron is a seasoned chemist with substantial experience in research and development, currently serving as Research and Technology Manager at GFS Chemicals since May 2014. Christophe's expertise includes laboratory development and technology transfer in Acetylene chemistry, organometallic compounds, liquid ammonia chemistry, and high-value synthetic alkenes. Prior to this role, Christophe was a Staff Scientist and Group Leader at Ashland Specialty Ingredients and a Research Chemist at ISP, where contributions included project management and process scale-up for pharmaceuticals. Additional experience includes teaching at The Ohio State University and research at the Davis Heart & Lung Research Institute, with a focus on developing cancer detection agents. Christophe holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, complemented by advanced degrees in Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry and Material Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University and Chimie ParisTech - PSL, respectively.
