Julián Castañeda has a diverse work experience in various marketing roles. Julián started their career as an Analyst in Claro Colombia, where they analyzed sales data and managed customer databases. Julián then moved on to Sin Miedo, where they worked as a Community Manager, optimizing digital media usage and creating strategies to increase customer community.
Afterwards, they joined PRA2MEDIA as a Digital Marketing Analyst, where they planned and monitored social media campaigns and analyzed metrics to improve results. Later, they worked as a Social Media Manager at Claro gaming, developing digital content strategies for multiple countries and collaborating with design and writing teams.
Most recently, they joined GGs.io as a Growth Manager, focusing on increasing brand awareness through content marketing and developing strategies for user acquisition and retention. Julián is currently serving as the Head of Growth at GGs.io, where they lead growth experiments and ensures marketing functions are optimized under value propositions.
Julián Castañeda attended Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a degree in "Grado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas" with a field of study in "Administración y gestión de empresas, general." In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications: "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) in April 2021, "Scrum Fundamentals Certified - Español" from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in December 2019, and "Inbound Marketing" from HubSpot Academy in September 2020.
