Spencer Connaughton

Spencer Connaughton is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in technology and innovation. As the Founder of GGX since November 2021, Spencer has leveraged previous experience as a Software Engineer in the Digital Currency Initiative at MIT Media Lab, contributing to Project Hamilton, which aimed to develop the U.S.'s first central bank digital currency. Prior roles include Product Prototyper at X, the moonshot factory, where Spencer launched projects in energy and global commerce, and Principal Associate at Emerson Collective, focusing on impact investments in environmental technologies. Spencer also has a strong foundation in user experience as a UX Engineer at Eyefluence, and has held various positions in portfolio management and research. Spencer obtained dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Southern Methodist University.
