Becket Osterland

Mission Planning Specialist at GHGSat

Becket Osterland is an experienced professional currently serving as an Operations Technician and previously as an Operations Intern at GHGSAT since June 2022. Prior to this, Becket worked as a Research Assistant at Concordia University's Climate Change Adaptation Lab, focusing on climate change adaptation in national housing systems under the supervision of Professor Alexandra Lesnikowski. Experience also includes roles as a server and oyster shucker at JOE BEEF for six years, and volunteer work with youth at Tyndale St-Georges and trail mapping at Morgan Arboretum. Becket holds a Graduate Certificate in Remote Sensing from the Centre of Geographic Sciences and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Geospatial Technologies from Concordia University, along with studies in Global and International Studies from Carleton University and a DEC in Languages from John Abbott College.
